New Nortel PBX Migration Options: JITC Certified – GENBAND Application Server with Polycom Endpoints

Watch this On-Demand presenation to learn about a new option to migrate legacy Nortel SL 100s, CS 2100s and AS 5300s.

GENBAND has recently completed JITC LSC certification. DoD organizations finally have a more cost effective way to migrate their Nortel PBX infrastructure, including leveraging standards-based Polycom endpoints.

GENBAND and Polycom discuss how to migrate SL-100s, CS 2100s and AS 5300s to the GENBAND Application Server (EXPERiUS) with Polycom phones. Organizations can deploy a scalable, fully redundant solution on-premises or in a private cloud.

The GENBAND Application Server has a Nortel heritage so personnel can quickly learn to deploy and manage it without extensive retraining; users will appreciate the solution’s familiar experience. Unlike competitive solutions, the GENBAND AS doesn’t require proprietary phones and can easily support hundreds of thousands of endpoints from a single instance.

JITC certification affords US defense departments, as well as certain government contractors, assurances that the GENBAND Application Server will interoperate within their networks and support certain Multilevel Precedence and Preemption (MLPP) capabilities. Certification further affirms the solution’s ability to comply with tested Information Assurance requirements associated with security and survivability services.
